Lanzamiento a.Lu|HMS en Santo Domingo.

El jueves pasado se realizó, por fin, el lanzamiento de a.Lu en la ciudad de Santo Domingo. Tanto los invitados como el equipo de organización lo pasamos genial. Fue fantástico compartir con familiares y amigos y darles a conocer nuestros últimos diseños y propuestas.

Además aprovechamos la ocasión, para presentar el nuevo a.Lu clutch, que estará a la venta dentro de muy pocos días.

Tengo tantas cosas que decir al respecto, que voy a preferir ser super escueta en lo que escribo: 

Muchisimas gracias a todos por asistir, y por ser parte de esto, gracias por sus palabras de aliento, de ánimo, por sus felicitaciones... Gracias por hacernos tan felices en tan pocas horas.

Solo les pido que se mantengan al tanto de todo lo nuevo que tenemos para ustedes; y que disfruten las imágenes de lo que ha sido una noche inolvidable. 

Last Thursday was finally a.Lu launching in Santo Domingo. We all had a great time. It was amazing meeting there our familires and friends and give them to know our last desings and trends.

 
We also took the chance to present the new a.Lu clutch, which will be available within a few days.

I have so many things to say, but I prefer to be concise about what I'm writing: 

Thanks to all of you for showing up, and for being part of this, thank you for your words of encouragement, and congratulations... Thanks for making us so happy in just a few hours.

Santo Domingo...Something beautiful is coming to town..!!

a.Lu by sisters Félix. Focus group

Llevo unos meses trabajando en un interesante proyecto junto a mi hermana y asesora Diana Félix. Trabajamos en el diseño y la ejecución de un nuevo producto que estará bajo la sombrilla de a.Lu, y por supuesto en la linea "handmade". La verdad es que nos lo estamos pasando muy bien en el proceso.

El sábado pasado organizamos un Focus Group con algunos amigos, para conocer sus sugerencias, opiniones acerca del proyecto, con el fin de sacar al mercado un producto super chulo y de la mejor calidad. Aunque les brindamos té, capuccino y galleticas, fueron hiper críticos con nosotras, y nos encantó...!!!

Luego les daremos mas detalles, y anunciaremos la presentación del nuevo hijo de a.Lu, pero mientras tanto les dejo algunas imágenes de lo que ha sido una tarde muy productiva.

I've been working on an interesting project with my sister and adviser Diana Felix, since a few months ago. We are designing a new product that will be under the a.Lu brand's umbrella, and of course the "handmade" line, and the truth is that we are having so much fun.

Last Saturday we organized a Focus Group with some friends. Their suggestions, opinions and feedback about the project were so important to us, in order to produce a super cool product with the best quality and style. Although we provide them tea, cappuccino and some cookies, they were hyper critical, and we loved it ...!

We will give you more details about all of this, and we will announce the birth of the new a.Lu's son very soon, but in the meantime I leave you some pictures of what has been a very productive afternoon.

Summer boots

Las botas son unas piezas de vestir que me encantan, quedan bien con pantalones largos, faldas, vestidos, shorts, hay de cuña alta, media, baja, tacones...pero debo admitir que la versión que más me gusta es la versión "flat" de verano...la que permite a mis pies respirar y sobre todo porque me permite disfrutarlas en climas cálidos, y en la temporada estival de los países con estaciones climáticas definidas.

Aquí les dejo una selección de Asos, una tienda fabulosa que me encanta y de la que soy consumidora habitual.
La última imagen la rescaté del desfile de Burberry Prorsum AW/13 en el London Fashion Week, el cual pude disfrutar personalmente.

Boots are pieces always present in my style. They look great with pants, skirts, dresses, shorts, you can find them high wedge, medium or low, also high heels... but I must admit that the version I like the most is the flat summer one... which allows my feet to breathe in warm weather.

Here I leave an Asos selection, a fabulous webshop that I love and i use very often.
I rescued the last image from AW/13 Burberry Prorsum Catwalk at London Fashion Week, which I attended personally.
